Flamenco
Commissioned by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation for the Paseo Arts District, Flamenco was chosen through an open call to memorialize the life of John L. Belt. A lawyer, philanthropist, community leader, and passionate supporter of the arts; John and his wife Joy Reed Belt helped to reimagine the historic Paseo district into an art and education destination for creative individuals and businesses in Oklahoma City. Flamenco was conceived to celebrate John Belt's life and continuing legacy in Oklahoma City. The sculpture received the Curtis A. Schwartz Cityscape Award from the Oklahoma City Arts Commission on April 5, 2016. Welded and powder coated steel. 14.5 ft. x 12.5 ft. x 10 ft.
