Gleam (2005) , is included in the 22nd International Juried Show at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Juror, Carter Foster, curator of drawings at the Whitney Museum of American Art, selected Gleam for the exhibition from over 2,300 entries from around the world. The exhibition runs from February 8 - March 21.
2007
Right-Turn & Innate were exhibited for the 21st Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition Through the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts at Appalachian State University. Mr. Hils received the GRAND PRIZE award for these works as selected by St. Louis based independent curator and writer Shannon Fitzgerald.
2006
Conduit was featured in Southwest Art magazine in an article surveying the Colorado Convention Center’s Grand Hyatt Regency art collection.
